On entering the dining room the children were presented with paper hats. The table was decorated with streamers and confetti, in the centre of which was a birthday cake decorated with kewpies and candles. Games and competitions were indulged in during the early evening The winers of the competitions were:—Butterfly hunt, Miss Bessie Ward; variety game, Miss Della Pedersen; beans, Miss Lois Laj'bourn; flowers, Miss Bessie Ward.
