Temperature in shade yesterday—maximum, 71 degrees; minimum, 59 degrees; maximum temperature in sun, 14S degrees. Bright sunshine yesterday, 8 hours 20 Minimum temperature on grass, 55 degrees. Direction of wind at 9 a.m., W.N.W. Velocity wind previous 24 hours, 149 miles. Rainfall during previous 24 hours, nil. Rainfall to date this month. .86in. Average for January, 2.77 inches.
