NIAGARA, R.M.S. left Vancouver January 9 for Sydney; via Victoria, Honolulu, Suva and Auckland; due Auckland January 28; due Sydney February 2. TAHITI, R.M.S., sailed from San Francisco December 26 for Sydney, via Papeete, Rarotonga, and Wellington; due Wellington January 14; due Sydney January 19. COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar sailed from Auckland last evening for Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. She is due back here about January 19. The Kaituna sails from here at 5 p.m. to-day for Portland, where she loads cement for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Kurow, from Dunedin and Timaru, left Lyttelton at 6 p.m. yesterday and leaves Wellington at 8 o’clock to-night for Auckland, where she is due on Sunday. After discharge here the vessel loads at this port for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru.
The Kaimanawa was docked this morning for cleaning and painting. Tomorrow she leaves here for Wellington; thence Westport, where she loads for this port. The Waipiata is to leave Dunedin on Saturday via Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and probably Picton, for Auckland. The Waimea arrived at Gisborne today and sails this evening for Napier and Auckland. She is due here on Sunday. The Wairuna, in continuation of her voyage from the Pacific Coast ports, leaves Auckland to-day at 3 o’clock for Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Kartigi is to leave Auckland on Saturday for Greymouth to load for Wellington and New Plymouth. The Kaitangata left Greymouth at 9 p.m. yesterday for West Coast, thence Auckland, and should arrive here about Sunday. The Awahou left here yesterday afternoon for Gisborne and East Coast bays. The Shell Company’s oil-tanker, Paua, is expected to leave Auckland on Saturday afternoon for Wellington. The Coronation sailed from here yesterday for Whangarei and returns tomorrow, sailing again on Saturday for Awanui. The' Elsie Mary left Auckland yesterday for Gisborne. The Waipu, sailing at midnight tonight for Kerepeehi, returns to Auckland on Saturday at 12.30 a.m. The Taniwha leaves Auckland at 11 o’clock this evening for Paeroa and is due back at 2.30 a.m., on Saturday. The Ngapuhi sails from here at 6.30 o’clock this evening for Tauranga and returns to Auckland at 7.30 a.m., on Saturday. The Rangitoto, due aU-Auckland at 9.30 o’clock this evening from the Great Barrier, sails at 1 p.m. to-morrow for the Thames. The Claymore, sailing at 7.30 p.m., today for Whangarei, returns to Auckland at 3.30 a.m., on Saturday. The Omana left here at 11.35 a.m. today for Wa'wera, Mahurangi and Warkworth, and is due back at noon tomorrow. The Hauiti, due here at 3 p.m., to-day from Kopu and Turua, sails at 1 p.m. to-morrow for Coromandel. The Kawau is due here at 3.30 x>.m. to-day from Big Omaha and way ports and sails at 6 p.m. to-morrow for Kawau, Leigh and Mangawai. The Apanui returns to Auckland at 6 a.m. to-morrow from Mercury Bay and Tairua and sails at 4 p.m. on Monday for Mercury Bay, Tairua and Whangamata. The Enton leaves Auckland on Saturday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete her discharge of New York cargo. The Northumberland, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool, sails from here on Saturday for Wellington, Lyttelton. Port Chalmers and Bluff. The Canadian Transporter left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to land the remainder of her Canadian cargo and to load for her return voyage. The motor-ship Olivebank is to leave here on Saturday morning for Sydney to load wheat for Home,
