NEW TRANSPORT BOARD CHAIRMAN’S HONORARIUM ; The newly formed Transport Board j anticipates a busy period. | According to a statement made at a j meeting yesterday, the board will ; meet every week for some weeks, and expects to meet on several nights until it has cleared up its policy. Several formal questions were decided yesterday. The board decided to take over the ; tramway undertaking from the City Council as on January 16. The honorarium of the chairman, i Mr. J. A. C. Allum. was fixed at £3OO per annum. Several passes issued to blind returned soldiers are to be endorsed to allow their attendants also to travel free.
