MORE EXCURSION TICKETS SOLD (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, To-day. Despite the increased competition of motor traction the holidav returns of passenger traflic from the Frankton railway station showed an increase over last year’s figures during the excursion period of 4,592 ordinary tickets, returning £1,444, and 3,465 excursion tickets producing £2,821.. Compared with Christmas excursion period last year, the revenue from ordinary sales was approximately the same, but there has been an increase in the excursion revenue of about £4OO.
