A message from Alice Springs states that an aboriginal and his lubra attacked a blci* k tracker with a tomahawk and left him for dead. The man is not expected to recover. The police are scouring the country for the black, who is an outlaw and is armed. The lubra first struck the black tracker, cutting his head open,, and the man then completed the work, terribly injuring the tracker.
