THE TRUE GOD
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE SERMON “God” was the subject of the lesson-sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The golden text was from Jeremiah 10:10, “The Lord Is the true God, he Is the living God, and an everlasting King,” Among the citations which comprised the lesson-sermon was the following from the Bible: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one LordAnd thou Shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.” CDeut. 6, 4 and S). The lesson-sermon also included the following passages from the Christian Science text-book, “Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: "God, the great I Am, the all-knowing; all-seeing, all-acting, all-wise, all-loving and eternal; Principle, Mind, Soul, Spirit, Life, Truth Love, all substance, intelligence.” (Page 587).
