KNOCKED DOWN BY BUS RAN FROM MOTHER’S SIDE Running from his mother’s side out into tlie road, Desmond Charles Josephs, aged four, was knocked down bi r a motor-bus, receiving such serious injuries that he died in hospital an hour and a-half later. The accident occurred in the New North .Road about 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The child was the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Josephs, of 1 Ethel Street, Edendale. and he was walking with his mother at the time. He suddenly darted from her side into the road, the bus knocking him down instantly. He received medical attention and was then taken to Hospital. He died at about half-past six.
