CASE OIL FROM TEXAS.—The motorship Cape York was dispatched from Port Arthur, Texas, on December 31 for Auckland, with case oil and petroleum products.' She will also discharge at Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth and Australia.
ENTON FROM NEW YORK.—The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the steamer Enton arrived at Suva from New York on Alonday afternoon. It was expected to dispatch her yesterday for Auckland, where she is due next Tuesday.
SOMERSET’S MOVEMENTS.—The New Zealand Shipping- Company advises that the steamer Somerset, which is loading for London and West Coast of United Kingdom ports at Queen's Wharf, will leave to-morrow afternoon to continue loading at New Plymouth ancl Wellington. She will fill up at Lyttelton, sailing finally on January 23.
REM U ERA DUE.—Advice lias been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the steamer Remuera, which reached Wellington from London and Southampton on Tuesday, is expected to leave for Auckland to-morrow afternoon to complete discharge and commence homeward loading. Heavy baggage and periodicals will be brought to Auckland by the vessel.
NORTHUMBERLAND IN PORT. — An arrival in the stream at Auckland this morning from Liverpool was the Federal steamer Northumberland, with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyctleton, Port Chalmers and Bluff. She was berthed later at the Queen’s Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo, under the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The Northumberland loaded her cargo at Newport, Glasgow, Avonmouth and Liverpool, and left the latter port on November 26. Fine weather was experienced throughout the voyage. The vessel arrived oft Colon on December 11, and transit through the Canal was granted, the Northumberland berthing at Balboa the same day. After oiling, the vesel left the following day, and good weather was experienced in the Pacific.

The Northumberland is expected to leave Auckland about the middle of next week for Southern ports.
