Tlie Ford Company announced that it will employ approximately SO.Ouo more men to increase the production of cars and trncits oy 20 per cent, within the next 60 days. Under the new programme, if it is possible, the company will maintain the present five-day week for employees, but will keep the plants running six days a week, in accordance with Mr. Henry Ford’s belief that five days’ work is sufficient for a man in a week, but that a six-day week f» not harmful to the company’s productions.
