Contributions continue to pour in to the Mansion House in response to the appeal of the Prince of Wales broadcast on Christmas Night for gifts for the Lord Mayor’s Miners’ Distress Fund. Gifts received yesterday included a second donation of £I,OOO from the City of Norwich, and £1,200 from Woking. The fund has reached a total of £346,000.
