THE annual meetings of the Indian National Congress and the All Parties Convention have made it clear that these bodies, generally representative of Hindu politicians, will only accept the Dominion status as a weapon to fight for complete independence. To-day’s proceedings terminated suddenly by 20,000 coolies invading the grounds waving red flags and posters and demanding the right to hold a meeting. Many o:f the congress leaders, while attempting to dissuade the mob, were knocked off their horses.
