WELL-EDUCATED PRISONER THEFT CHARGE AT HAMILTON Press Association HAMILTON, To-day. Charged with the theft of a cash box containing £26 and other property of a total value of £29 2s lid belonging to Mr. J. Doleman, tobacconist, of Hamilton, a well-educated youth of 18 appeared at the Police Court to-day. His father lives at Remuera, and holds a responsible public position. A remand was granted until January 16, bail being granted in a sum of £IOO. Accused asked for the suppression of his name in view of the important position occupied by his father, and the request was granted.
