LONDON, December 17. The only living thing on the stranded White Star steamer Celtic is the ship’s cat, which refuses to leave the only home she has known, as she was born on the vessel. When the crew were packing up to leave she followed them to the ladder, mewing mournfully. She watched her shipmates depart, and walked slowly back to her own quarters.
