FUN AND FROLIC
BRIGHT FARE AT HIS MAJESTY’S In the performance staged by the Midnight Frolics at his Majesty/!; Theatre there is not a dull moment. From curtain to curtain the fun is fast and furious, and in a well-varied programme are items to suit all tastes. That versatile performer, Mr. Clem Dawe, heads the bill and has a hand in most of the humour that is going. His is humour of the irrepressible effervescent order that bubbles out continually. His work also has polish and finish, and for this reason it never tires or offends. Undoubtedly his work can be classed as one of the best comedy performances seen in Auckland for some time. / He is supported by a strong company which excels in song and dance numbers. This evening will see the last performance of the current programme, but on Wednesday the company will appear in a special holiday programme, which will include by special request Mr. Dawes’s clever characterisation of Sousa, in which he is assisted by the Frolics Jazz Band.
