LYRIC

“THE LITTLE SNOB” Picturesque Coney Island with its thousand and one freak shows, mysteries and garish attractions, is revealed in all its glamour in “The Little Snob,” starring May McAvoy, now at the Lyric Theatre. “Colonel” Banks, proprietor of a Coney Island concession, hoards his savings and sends his pretty daughter to a swanky boarding school, from which she emerges with a superiority to her father and the sidewalk “barker” across the broadwalk, who had been her beau. “Sailors Don’t Care,” the second feature, is a breezy comedy of lower deck life in the Navy.
