FIRE AT OTAHUHU

The Otahuhu Fire Brigade received a call from the residence of Mr. Hayden, Hall’s Avenue, Otahuhu, at 10.30 yesterday morning. Some clothing, which was drying on a plate-rack above the range, had become ignited. The occupants had the fire under control before the brigade arrived. No damage was done, except to the clothing.
