FORTY YEARS ORDAINED

MINISTRY OF THE PRIMATE Yesterday marked the 40th anniversary of the ordination to the priesthood of Archbishop Averill. The Archbishop mentioned the fact casually at the social gathering held on Saturday evening in honour of Archdeacon MacMurray, who on that day completed 50 years’ ministry. In asking that the archdeacon should be specially remembered in the prayers of those present, the Primate modestly requested a similar request on his own behalf.
