CHEER GERMS DISPENSED

(From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Sunday. Owing to the activities of the Cheer Germ Club many chihtren of poor parents will spend a brighter Christmas. Since Friday Santa Claus and his retinue have been all over the district, distributing toys and luxuries far and wide. Great excitement greeted his arrival at “The Nest”—the Salvation Army Home, and not half the total gifts purchased from donations made to the club were dispensed of on Saturday night. The good work will continue to-morrow. Over 200 children will leave for the Waikato League’s camp by river steamer on Thursday.
