SEATS FOR THE WEARY

POINT CHEVALIER APPEAL Foot-weary wanderers along Point Chevalier Beach will be catered for under an appeal that is being made by interested residents of the district for seats to be placed along the waterfront. Mr. J. S. Croll, Joan Street, Point Chevalier, has offered to give the first seat which has been accepted, subject to the approval of the City Council. It is expected that there will be a satisfactory reply to the appeal which follows on a similar scheme which proved successful in the “furnishing” of Albert Park some years ago.
