STOLE 246 FROCKS FOR HER WEDDING

Reed. 9.5 a.m. MELBOURNE, To-day. Frocks valued at £1,500 were exhibited in the Criminal Court at Melbourne in a case against Mrs. Eltreda Court, who was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment tor having stolen them from a city warehouse where she was employed as a saleswoman. Mrs. Court said she had acquired 246 frocks for her wedding, but all had been bought from various sources and had not been stolen.
