ACCORDEON PLAYER AND TURTLE Winck and Karl are responsible for most of the amusement for the crew of the Olivebank, which arirved at Auckland yesterday after a voyage of three and a-half months. Winck is one of the four Swedish seamen on board. He plays the accordeon. Karl is a turtle from Mahe, in the Seychelles Islands. He is the captain’s pet. In spite of the fact that the crew was weak with hunger for weeks on end, Karl managed to survive.
