Fire in Confectioners A confectioners’ shop in Douglas Street, Ponsonby, was slightly damaged by fire at about 6.45 this morning. The shop, which was owned by Mr. Bishop, of 14 Williamson Avenue, and occupied by R. Cartwright, had the floor boards burned, the Central Brigade putting the fire out with chemical extinguishers. The contents of the shop were insured in the Phoenix Office for .£SO, ___
