AUSTRALIANS SELECTED NO DAVIS CUP TEAM SYDNEY, Tuesday. The tennis test matches between Australia and England are to be held at Sydney on January 3, 4 and ;>. The Australian players to meet the British players are as follow:—Crawford. Kopman, Cummings, and Kalms. Emergency: Willard. Patterson, Hawkes and O’Hara Wood are not available. Australia is not likely to send a Davis Cup team on tour next year. Crawford and Hopman are not available, Patterson is retiring, and Willard, Schlesinger, Cummings and Moon are not considered to be up to Davis Cup standard.
