BETTER THAN WOOD-PULP
NEW CORNSTALK PAPER Times Cable. Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The New York correspondent of the “Times” says yesterday’s issue of the Danville (Illinois) “Commercial News” comprised 116 pages of printed paper manufactured from cornstalks. The edition included 48 pages printed by the rotogravure process. The paper is said to be equal in every respect to that made I'ror* woodpulp, and actually stronger. It had a good white colour and took the ink well. According to the manufacturers it can be produced more cheaply than wood-pulp paper.
