Riddet, of the Massey Agricultural College, Palmerston North, arrived in Auckland this morning by tiie Limited. Coates and Mrs. Coates will arrive in Auckland tomorrow from Wellington. They will leave later in the day for Kaipara. Professor John Schmidt, of Copenhagen, who is in charge of the Banish Government Research Expedition at present in New Zealand waters, is .staying at the Grand Hotel. He will join the research ship Dana when it arrives in Auckland this afternoon. The Right Rev. Leonard S. Kerapthorne. Bishop in Polynesia, arrived in Wellington yesterday by th« Makura. He will remain in New Zealand for a month, and will spend a fortnight at Nelson on a visit to his parents, Archdeacon and Mrs. Kemptliorne, who re- - ently celebrated their golden wedding.
