INTERNATIONALISM
Sir.— Hie subject of internationalism lias been attracting much attention in England recently. The British Broadcasting Company engaged a prominent lecturer on this subject to give 25 chats over the air. These proved a great success, and the lecturer especially recommended the teaching of Esperanto to children just before the school - leaving age. It is interesting to learn that these two subjects are being broadcast into the schools, and are so much appreciated. Until we can use the schools for this purpose in New Zealand, why not send the facts into the homes of the children, and follow the methods employed in the Old Country as closely as we can? As a member of the London International Society of -Philology. and having at hand much interesting material on both subjects. I wou ld be glad to do anything possible to assist. BETTY KING.
