ROAD COLLAPSES
FAULTY SEWER THE CAUSE After yesterday’s heavy rain portion of the tar-sealed surface of Rutland Street collapsed. It was found that the trouble was due to a faulty sewer, which had undermined the road, leaving a hole with about eight feet of water in it.
