EXTENSION OF BENEFITS SOUGHT (THE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, To-day. Extension of pensions to nurses and returned soldiers was mentioned in the House of Representatives this afternoon. when notice of questions was given by Sir George Hunter (Waipawa). He gave notice to ask the Minister in Charge of the National Provident Fund, the lion. J. B. Donald, whether the Government. next session, would extend the benefits of the nurses’ superannuation scheme to include all qualified nurses. Also he gave notice to ask the Minister of Pensions, the Hon. W. A. Veitcli, whether he will consider the question of pensions for discharged soldiers whose disabilities are not attributable to war services.
