GRAND

“TRELAWNEY OF THE WELLS” “Trelawney of the Wells,” based on Sir Arthur Pinero's famous play, will be shown at the Grand Theatre this evening. Norma Shearer and Ralph Forbes are the stars. Based on the traditional repugnance of the nobility for a matrimonial alliance with stage people, “Trelawney of the Wells” is the story of two young people representing both classes who fell in love, and the subsequent happenings. Human interest, class prejudice, subtle humour, ribald comedy, drama and true romance pack every moment of the story. Old and young of all classes will enjoy it from first to last.
