UNSOCIABLE DOG
OWNER FINED 10/William A. E. Leonard's dog objects to strangers. Following a complaint made by Alexander Sutherland, Leonard was fined 10s at the Police Court this morning for keeping a dangerous dog. Mr. Sutherland complained that he was walking along the footpath of Remuera Road when the dog sprang at him, bruising his arm. He had not been badly bitten and his clothes were not damaged. Sub-Inspector McCarthy understood that tho dog had since been sent to the country. Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M., first made the fine £1 and costs, later halving it when Leonard appeared to make a personal explanation.
