CO-OP. PIG MARKETING

WAIKATO ASSN.’S ACTIVITIES (Prom Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. Steady supplies have been handled throughout this month by the New Zealand Co-operative Pig Marketing Association, a total of 5,067 pigs having come forward. The greater portion of these were baeoners, though porkers continue to come to hand. The association reports that porkers are experiencing a weak market, but that baeoners are steady after a tempoi-ary lapse. A large number of the returns for the porkers from last season have come in, and an effort is being made to clear up the porker pools immediately. This will finalise last season’s operations.
