HOUSE STILL QUIET STATEMENT THIS AFTERNOOK (THE S.UN.’S .Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, To-day. The morning in the House was uneventful and placid with the Ministers settling down in their new quarters and • geeting down to Retails of their work. Sir Joseph Ward will- make a statement in the House * this afternoon on loan questions; and if it has found that lfe lids hot 'authority for his purpose, lie probably 'Will bring down legislatipii to /gain sucli authority. Members of .the. House.are not anxious for the session, .to . extend over the weekend. so. . an. .effort, probably will be made to get .the. House to rise on Friday or this evening. Since- there- will be no additional appointments • • to- the Ministry, and State- Forests, Tourist and Health Resorts - remain unfilled, new portfolios will be given to a member or members of the Cabinet. Nothing will be done regarding ah appointment until next session, it was stated to-day.
