EVERYBODY’S
“WRATH OF THE GODS" All the grimness and terrible beauty of the Swiss Alps are brought out in “Wrath of the Gods,” the U.F.A. picture to be shown this evening at the Everybody’s Theatre. High among the mountains at a large health resort, the guests are one evening charmed by the dancing of a young girl. Diotima, a child of the mountains. Among the spectators are two true sons of the mountains, Vigo—an athlete with the heart of a child — and his great friend, a famous mountain climber. Diotima makes such an . impression on the latter that he is compelled to leave the hall and fly to his beloved mountains to regain control of himself. Vigo’s feelings are those of childish admiration. The following day Diotima, in her wanderings about the surrounding country, encounters the mountaineer who had fled from her presence. These two, both lovers of solitude and the mountain vastness, find something of common interest between them, and the stern man of the mountains unbends at last and falls to the charms of the beautiful dancer. An excellent supporting programme will also be shown.
