KICKED FOR A PAT

YOUNG FARMER INJURED (Front Our Own Correspondent) WAIHI, Monday. Mr. Alex Campbell, junr., a wellknown farmer, of Waikino, was kicked in the face by a young horse on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Campbell had just finished unharnessing the horse and had given it a pat when, -without warning, the animal lashed out,, striking Mr. Campbell on the side of fhe head and rendering him unconscious. He was conveyed to the Waihi Public Hospital, where he received treatment. His condition today was slightly better.
