ST. JAMES THEATRE

ENTERTAINING REVUE A really bright revue entertainment is being* presented at St. James Theatre nightly by George Ward and his “Whirl of Mirth” Revue Company. The show is original and refreshing and attracts large attendances each night. First and foremost in the show are George Ward, Charles Sherman and Frank Moran, who keep the pot boiling all the time. George Wal'd is, of course, the king-pin of the humourists, and he is ably supported by the other comedians. Other members of the company, Jean Keith, Patsy Hill and Vernon Sellars, all appear tQ good effect, and the duet between the latter two is a fine effort. Charleston Symphonic Six again come in for high honours. Whether playing jazz, or old songs, or classical music, the band delights everybody and its popularity is deserved, as it is undoubtedly one of the best combinations heard in Auckland.
