POLICE PROMOTIONS
ADDITIONAL CHANGES Press Association WELLINGTON, To-dav. The following police promotions and transfers, in addition to those published yesterday, have been announced by the Commissioner of Police. Mr. W. B. Mcllveney: Sub-Inspector J. Fahey, of Dunedin, is promoted to the rank of inspector. Detective-Sergeant W. J. Butler. of Napier, is appointed to the grade of senior-sergeant and transferred to Wellington. Detective T. Fitzgibbon, of Hastings, replaces Detective-Sergeant Butler at Napier. Detective B. Farquharson is transferred from Dunedin to Hastings. Detective J. K. Robertson, of Whangarei, is promoted to the rank of de-tective-sergeant. Constable W. H. Simister, at present on loan to the Cook Islands Administration for police duty at Rarotonga, is promoted to the rank of sergeant. Detective H. Kuttall, of Timaru. is promoted to the rank of detective-ser-geant and transferred to Dunedin. Detective L. Studholme, of Christchurch. will replace Detective-Sergeant Xuttall at Timaru. The above promotions will take effect as from January 1. 1929, and'the transfers will be effected as soon as possible.
