GARDEN FETE

FOR EDENDALE CHURCH A most successful garden party was held at the residence of Mrs. S. T. Hutchinson, Fowlds Avenue, on Saturday afternoon. The fete was opened by the Mayor of Mount Albert in the presence of a large number of visitors. Throughout the afternoon there were novel attractions, the children being particularly well catered for. Proceedings were enlivened by the Salvation Army Band selections. As a result of the fair the funds of the church will benefit to the extent of over JC 30.
