RAIN IN TARANAKI
FARMERS’ FEAR OF DROUGHT Press Association NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. During the 24 hours ending at midnight on Sunday, 3.62 in of rain fell here. Apparently it was general over Taranaki, greatly relieving the farmers, who were beginning to fear a renetition of last summer’s drought.
