SPECIMENS WANTED FOR ENGLAND One of the natural glories of Rangitoto is a species of clematis, the flower of which frequently measures 6in across. A New Zealander, applying for a friend in England, wrote to the Rangitoto Island Domain Board last evening for permission to obtain seeds and specimens of the plant. Professor Sperrin-Johnson,- who acts in an honorary advisory capacity as botanist to the board, is to be asked to supply th« desired seeds.
