EVERYBODY’S

“HOT NEWS” "Hot News” is the expressive title of one of the main pictures on the current programme at the Everybody’s Theatre. This is a most unusual but very exciting film. It tells the story of the filming of scenes in the movie gazettes which are a regular feature of every motion theatre programme. To make up the film a story has been written around the owners and cameramen of a news-getting agency, with the two leading players, Bebe Daniels and Neil Hamilton, in the roles of Patricia Clancy and "Scoops" Morgan respectively. "Riding for Fame," a fast-moving Western story in which Hoot Gibson is in his element, is the other attraction. CAROL CONCERT The Municipal Choir will sing a number of carols, ancient and modern, at its concert in the Town Hall on Saturday evening next. The city organist, Mr. Maugham Barnett, will play, and Miss Mina Caldow will be the vocalist.
