BAND AT ZOO TO-MORROW
The- Municipal Band plays at the Zoological Park to-morrow afternoon, at 3 o'clock. A brightly varied programme will include the selections “Patience” and "Madame Pompadour,” overture “Les Cloches do Corneville,” intermezzo scene “In a Persian Market,” suite “Ballet Egyptian.” instrumental solos by Messrs. McLennan and Bowes, together with stirring marches and popular hymn tunes.
“Xotiling like it in years,” is the verdict of Pete Harrison in his summing up of “The Cop,” the P.D.C. release, featuring that well-known and popular artist, William Boyd of “Volga Boatman” fame. “The Cop” will be followed by further William Boyd subjects which include “The Xight Flyer." “The Skyscraper,” “High Voltage.” and “The Flying Fool.” British Film Service, Ltd., is now booking the P.D.C. product for 1929.
