MUNICIPAL BAND CONCERT

A programme devoted entirely to the works of Franz Schubert is the musical fare offered to patrons of the Municipal Concerts by the Municipal Band in the Town Hall to-night. The band will play “Marche .Heroique,” ‘•Rosamunde” overture, the “Unfinished Symphony,” “Moments Musical,” Op. 94, Xos. 1 and 3, and “Impromptu,” Op. 142, No. ,2, and “Reminiscences.” Miss Alma McGruer will sing "Wohin?”, “Who is Sylvia?”, and other songs, with Mrs. Ripley at the piano. The “Serenade” will be played by Mr. Fred Bowes as a cornet solo, the “Ave Maria” as«a flute solo by Mr. McLennan, and “The Erl King” as a euphonium solq by Mr. Purchase. Booking arrangements are advertised.
