SENTENCE OF DEATH

YOUNG GIRL OUTRAGED THREE MEN CONDEMNED SYDNEY, Friday. The story of the terrible ordeal of a girl of 17 at Parkes, who was criminally assaulted by several young men on September 24, wss told in the Criminal Court, Sydney. The trial has occupied three days. It culminated to-day in the conviction upon a capital charge of three of the accused, Arthur Callaghan, Walter Littler and Bert Littler, who were all sentenced to death. A fourth man, Edward McCarroll, was acquitted and discharged.
