EMPTY SHOP ON FIRE

GREAT SOUTH ROAD OUTBREAK About three o’clock yesterday afternoon a small empty shop at S Great South Road was damaged by fire. The back half of the shop was gutted and a motor-lorry, owned by a Mr. Westup, which was in the back yard, was also slightly damaged. The shop, which jvas used last by Andrews and Clark as a factory, is owned by ■ Mr. C. Pope, of 29 Onslow Road, Epsom. The Remuera and Parnell Fire Brigades attended the fire.
