FALL ON WINCH
YOUNG MINER INJURED (From Our Own Correspondent) HUNTLY, Thursday. A youth, Willi© Kerr, aged 17. employed by the Renown Collieries, at Waikokowai, received painful injuries iroush slipping- and falling on a winch in the mine to-day. Dr. Duncan Macdiarmicl rendered assistance and ordered the injured young man to the Waikato Hospital. Though suffering considerably from shock and abdominal injuries, the latter are not considered serious.
