Sir Mark Sheldon On United States WILL CONTINUE, TOO (Australian and X.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. NEW YORK, Wed. Interviewed, Sir Mark Sheldon, formerly Commissioner for Australia in the United States, who is leaving for Montreal to-day and thence proceeding to Australia by the Aorangi on December 12, said the United States was enjoying a prosperity greater than that of any other country ever before. “I had some doubt previous to my arrival here on this trip whether this condition could continue; but now I am convinced that for 1929 at least there will be no cessation of the upward movement, and there can be little fear of a recession. “American prosperity must be reflected in world prosperity, because as greater strides forward are made in this country, other nations are unquestionably bound to benelit from this.’*
