MUSIC EXAMINATIONS
UNIVERSITY RESULTS IMPROVEMENTS NOTED “A great improvement in the scales and arpeggios, more careful preparation of studies, and a marked advance in the playing of the various pieces,” were noted by the examiners at the half-yearly practical and theoretical examinations of the School of Music of the Auckland University College. The examinations took place on November 24 to 27 inclusive, and the examiners were Dr. W. E. Thomas and Dr. S. K. Phillips, of Auckland.
