After strolling about the town for a wm” they made their way to the Domain where sports were held lor young and old. The Waihi Band accompanied the excursionists and gave a number of te ections on the Strand, which were milch appreciated by the townspeople. Tic return train left at 7 p.m. * * * The Borough Council has sf.t aside new camping sites at the sth, 6th and 7th A\enues, with harbour beach frontal and has fitted them up with electri.’ cooking and hot water appliances and conveniences. The beaches in these localities are hard and clean sand and perfectly safe ftyoung people. A caretaker is to be appointed to keen the sites clean and to give everv information to visitors.
