Those injured in the serious motor accident at Manaia Hill yesterday are making satisfactory progress in the Coromandel Hospital. The bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and the child, Jessie Wilson, were taken to Thames to-day. The driver of the car, Mr. W. Beech, county foreman, and Mr. D. Goudie, of Colville, in the latter s motor-car, hastened to the scene of the accident and rendered assistance. They speedily conveyed the injured people to the hospital, where they were attended to by Dr. Rawstron. An inquest was opened this afternoon before Mr. J. Barker, J.P., coroner, but owing to the inability of the injured to attend it was adjourned.
